M. Sc. Juan Mariño
On Wednesday 15th of 2023, at the TUM Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability, a new member has joined the Professorship of Bioprocess Engineering as PhD student and research associate. M. Sc. Juan Mariño will focus his research on the economical realization of biotechnologically produced polymers through process design & optimization. Mr. Mariño completed his bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering at the National University of Colombia from 2012 to 2016, and his master degree in Chemical Biotechnology at the Technical University of Munich from 2020 to 2022. In the years in between, he worked in industry for the improvement of production processes and the reduction of costs.
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Mariño to the Bioprocess Engineering team and we wish him great success on his first task of supporting the establishment of the Applied Process Engineering course!
