research project
Study of the economic viability of bio-based products and the optimization of production processes from renewable resources. Given the current pressure on industry for achieving sustainable manufacturing processes, the research efforts are focused on the evaluation of different industrial wastes as fermentation feed for the bacterial production of added-value chemicals, such as biopolymers and functional food ingredients.
