Ulf Stegemeyer, M. Sc.
The BVT team is growing rapidly! To strengthen the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering at the TUM Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability Straubing, M.Sc. Ulf Stegemeyer has been added to the team since Thursday, 01 February 2024. With the focus on producing and purifying antioxidants from methanol, Mr Stegemeyer joined us as a PhD student and research associate. From 2018 to 2021, Mr Stegemeyer completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biotechnology here at the TUM Campus Straubing. Meanwhile, he spent a semester abroad at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. From 2021 to 2024, he obtained his Master of Science in Chemical Biotechnology. During his studies, Mr Stegemeyer worked as a mathematics tutor, mentor and research assistant and worked for Wacker Chemie AG as part of an industrial semester.
We warmly welcome Ulf and wish him a good start! We are very pleased that he supports the BVT team with his help and research.
