On October 15, 2022, M. Sc. Jennifer Borger joined the Professorship for Bioprocess Engineering as PhD student and research associate. Ms. Borger completed her bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from 2017 to 2020 at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and her master’s degree in Chemical Biotechnology from 2020 to 2022 at the TUM Campus Straubing. Within the scope of her PhD topic, she will deal with the development of a fermentative process for isobuthanol production and its scale-up. Furthermore, the equipping of the laboratories of the Professorship for Bioprocess Engineering as well as the supervision of the exercise “Conceptual Design of Bioprocesses” are part of her future tasks.
