Eric Gathirwa (International Sustainability Academy), Christine Bii (Kenya Medical Research Center) and Prof. Michael Zavrel won the 1st poster prize of the REACH Science to Start-up Convention. In their poster, the scientists present an innovative approach to the sustainable use of water hyacinths for cellulose-based production of biofuels and biofertilizers.
