The Bioprocess Engineering team held its second annual scientific retreat in Raitenhaslach, celebrating a productive year with six new doctoral students joining the group since last year. The growing team is kicking off new projects like C1TOCO, CirculH2, and TransBIB, which aim to bring further directions to the professorship.
This year’s retreat also focused on enhancing lab capabilities, with efforts to streamline and standardize workflows using the 5S and DMAIC improvement cycle methodologies for continuous improvement. New lectures are also in development, set to broaden the scope of bioprocess engineering education at TUM Campus Straubing.
Exciting advancements are on the horizon as the team continues to push forward in bioprocess engineering research and education!
